A guy gave me a bouquet of flowers once back in HS, while all his classmates watched (they were seniors), but then he took the flowers back and they all laughed. I just shrugged and pretended it didn’t happen. They probably realized what they did to me was pretty sad or they thought their prank flunked because they all went silent for a moment and then they walked away, but still it was f-ed up.
